We track indicators we believe will ultimately move the needle on our cradle-to-career milestones. Each indicator is tied to a strategy/site/action team (which, in turn, is tied to an initiative).
The diagram below provides a helpful example of the relationship between key elements of indicator tracking. Note: individual metrics are color coded based on how close the metric is to that period’s specific goal (e.g. on track, off track, approaching).
The Dashboard captures these indicators through individual metrics (e.g. % Educators of Color across the county). These metrics are then rolled up together when determining on/off track for an initiative. Capturing separate indicator metrics for each strategy/site/action team enables us to track key differences in a granular way (e.g. collecting data from Success Network site level schools might look different from one school to the next).
