West Marin Kindergarten Readiness Team

As one of the newest teams, this group launched their process by examining KSEP data provided by Shoreline Unified School District. The team is using this data to align efforts, hold themselves accountable and develop strategies. Some of the collaborative action strategies the team is considering include:

• Improving developmentally appropriate practices for infants and toddlers
• Supporting Early Childhood Education (ECE) college courses in West Marin
• Increasing wages and benefits for early childhood educators and caregivers in West Marin
• Supporting and engaging families with children 0-5
