Diversifying Marin’s Educator Workforce
This Learning Brief, through a case study approach featuring the Sausalito Marin City School District and its Superintendent Dr. Itoco Garcia, looks at how Marin Educators for Equity Initiative Partners are working together to increase their BIPOC educator workforce so that it more closely aligns with the demographics of the county’s student population.

Marin Promise Partnership is one of 7 communities across the country that have been involved in the Strive Together Systems Transformation Systems Indicator project. Out of this work, Marin Promise Partnership created a Learning Brief on Antiracist Education that focuses on several of the Systems Indicators, especially the Culturally Responsive Curriculum indicator.
