New Board Member Joins the Partnership

Marin Promise Partnership would like to congratulate and give a warm welcome to its newest member of the Board of Directors, Anna Lam Pilloton. Partners are grateful and excited to have Anna join the board and bring her unique talent, educational expertise and perspective to the work of Marin Promise Partnership in order to further its vision of educational equity in Marin.

Anna is a dedicated education advocate with experience including: being a parent of 3 graduates of local schools, school district Trustee, former member of Marin Education Fund Board (now 10K Degrees) and other local foundations, Executive Director K-14 educational non-profit, Arts integration program manager, College of Marin Director of School and Community Partnerships, and member of Marin Promise Future Ready Action Team. She also participated in the Strive Together Systems Indicator Pilot cohort and Co-facilitated Strive’s AAPI Affinity Group. Anna attributes her interest in “connecting the dots” and leveraging valuable resources to an inherited work-ethic; the combination of a theoretical grounding in Economics and a pragmatic Master’s in Business approach at University of Chicago; real world experience in for-profit and non-profit sectors; and plentiful community-building opportunities.

"I can’t think of anyone better suited to help further the mission of Marin Promise Partnership. Her life’s work, along with her commitment to equity and social justice, are in perfect alignment with the Partnership's values and principles."
