On Monday, August 19th, we welcomed Richard Raya as our new CEO, ushering in a new chapter of leadership and vision. Richard brings a deep personal connection to our mission, sharing “I’m honored to be entrusted with implementing the bold mission that Ann and her team established over a decade ago — that all children in Marin County, regardless of their income, have what they need to succeed in school and life.”
For Richard, this work is a healing journey and he’s committed to building a system that serves every student. “We can come together as a community, in partnership with schools and local government, to create a system that works for everyone,” he shared.
As we embark on this exciting journey with Richard, our founder and outgoing CEO, Ann Mathieson, will continue to offer her invaluable support and guidance throughout his onboarding process. We are deeply grateful for her continued dedication and leadership.
