After seven years of growth and change, the Partnership has launched its own independent nonprofit organization to manage and sustain the Backbone services that support all of the Partners’ collaborative action. The Partnership is truly grateful to 10,000 Degrees for many years of fiscal sponsorship and for their ongoing leadership role. As part of this transition, the new Board of Directors, who’s role overseeing operational governance of the Backbone Organization, will be complemented by the Partnership Council (PC) and its Leadership Team’s (LT) role in setting Partnership-wide priorities and using positional power in their organizations, and across the county, to champion anti-racist policy and practice shifts.
