The Partnership’s Operating Structure

After an initial start up phase of growth and change, the Partnership has launched its own independent nonprofit organization to manage and sustain the Backbone services that support all of the Partners’ collaborative action. The Partnership is truly grateful to 10,000 Degrees for many years of fiscal sponsorship and for their ongoing leadership role. As part of the transition to an independent 501(c)3 organization, the new Board of Directors, who’s role overseeing operational governance of the Backbone Organization, will be complemented by the Partnership’s Leadership Team and Youth & Family Council and their roles in furthering Partnership-wide priorities by using both community and positional power across the county, to champion anti-racist policy and practice shifts.
