Waiver applications must comply with the County’s 30-point coronavirus safety protocol structure in order to be passed along to the State for approval. So far, of the 15 school applicants that have applied for waivers to begin in-person instruction as early as September 8th, three are small public schools (Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy: ~110 TK-6 students, Laguna Elementary: ~14 TK-6 students, and Lincoln Elementary: ~8 TK-6 students).
