Marin Promise Partnership is an integrated network of people, organizations, and systems.

A collection of respected cross-sector representatives from key organizations across the county have made a promise to each other and to our kids to close education gaps by 2028. Partners have committed to working together to strengthen the county’s system of schools and educational services through alignment, data-driven accountability, collaborative action and joint advocacy.

The Marin Promise Partnership approach accelerates and amplifies the great work of partners by weaving together all of the systems currently operating in separate silos:

  • (0-5yr) Early Education and Preschools
  • K-5 Elementary Schools
  • Middle Schools
  • High Schools
  • Community Colleges and Universities
  • Nonprofits
  • Grassroots Community Groups
  • Government Programs
  • Educational Philanthropy, and
  • For Profit Educational Services

Each of these elements operate with different goals, data systems, policies and administrative processes. By coming together as an integrated network, partners are breaking down barriers, building relationships, changing systems, and improving lives.

Together, the partners are accomplishing
what none can do alone.

“I believe that Marin Promise is the answer we have been waiting for - using a proven, successful model of collaboration and data-driven decision-making to make real system-wide change. We need to rethink ‘business as usual’ because it isn’t working.”
